Step away from the ledge.
1) It's the Defense PRODUCTION Act, not the National Defense Authorization Act.
2) While Trump has invoked it, he has yet to implement it. He said during a presser yesterday, "Governors are supposed to be doing a lot of this work...the federal government's not supposed to be out there buying vast amounts of item and then shipping. You know, we're not a shipping clerk."
3) "The act gives the federal government broad authority to direct private companies to meet the needs of the national defense. Over the decades, the law's powers have been understood to encompass not only times of war but also domestic emergency preparedness and recovery from terrorist attacks and natural disasters. The act authorizes the president to require companies to prioritize government contracts and orders seen as necessary for the national defense, with the goal of ensuring that the private sector is producing enough goods needed to meet a war effort or other national emergency."

4) Not the first time the Act has been used. Trump used it for the space industry in 2017 and again after the hurricane in Puerto Rico in 2017. Obama used it in 2011. Clinton/Bush used it in 2000.
The point is, you post these things much like how CNN/MSNBC does -- to invoke panic and fear. But if you actually look at what is being done, it's not at all like what you posted.
The act allows the POTUS to direct companies to produce what is needed in an emergency -- in this case, it's ventilators and N95 masks.
This isn't about martial law -- has nothing to do with martial law.
Calm down, take a breath. Don't be CNN/MSNBC.
