For those of you who are pushing the "principles without rules" concept, I aver that you ARE going to draw a line somewhere! Why is it that where the conservatives draw the line is off base and where you draw the line is right on target?

You are missing the point of what we are saying. I suppose the old adage would explain it best, "Don't skin the fish until you get it in the boat."
I'm sure I don't have to explain the totality of that statement, except that, if you do try to skin it first, you took away the principle and left only a rule.
