Now, go back and actually read his post instead of reading into it.
Note the following:
"that many within the movement have not moved beyond
Acts 2:38 and Knowing the book." Show me where this is of "an insulting nature." Whether the statement is true or not is subject to debate; if you disagree with it then provide evidence to support your disagreement or, at the very least, ask him to provide evidence to prove the veracity of the statement.
"He went as far to exhort the listeners that many in the movement don't really KNOW GOD.
One interesting quote from the message and I paraphrase is .....
'You are married to doctrine and have divorced youself from Deity.'"
Show me where this is of "an insulting nature."
Finally, he asked the question, "Have some made
Acts 2:38 and standards THE MESSAGE ... while Jesus is sitting on the outside looking in?" Notice that this is
a question. By your own question "To suggest that
Acts 2:38 believers and adherents may be idolaters?" it seems you are suggesting that he has evil motives - or at the very least that you are so married to
Acts 2:38 as the end-all and be-all of your faith you are insulted that he would even dare to ask his question.
At some point, one needs to move beyond
Acts 2:38, beyond entering the door of the sheepfold, and onto maturity as described in
Hebrews 5:12 through 6:3?
