And this reversal of roles (so to speak) is far more common that we realize or would speak of. I taught school for several years and you would not believe the number of kids who come from homes where the mother abuses the father. The father's don't file charges because the abusive wife will turn the table on the husband and our society is conditioned to believe the woman's story. I listened to many sad stories from some of the kids I taught.
