ONE (note I said one) of the reasons my wife is not saved is because she, being of a Roman Catholic background, is terrified of going to the altar. She does not want folks in her face or grabbing her hand or touching her too much in any way. As a result of that fear she just doesn't go to church and the church in her town is THE POA. She would rather sit at home and watch Joyce Meyer or Crefflo or Chuck Stanley on TV or A Mangun on the internet.
Good training of altar workers is very important and should be conducted on a regularly scheduled basis.
