Sister Alvear writes..
Greetings to you my precious friends in the Name of Jesus.
Brother Alvear mentioned I would get back with you all before my surgery. Tonight we just got in from talking with the doctor. They have found a ‘significant” (?) heart problem so instead of doing the surgery tomorrow they are going to run more tests on my heart to make sure it can stand the surgery. They also marked an appointment with a special cardiologist tomorrow. However the doctor told me if after the tests are run tomorrow and if all is ok with the cardiologist and anesthesiologist he will operate Wednesday afternoon.
We are a little shocked that they will not operate tomorrow but I am sure they know much more than we do about surgery and its risks…
I would like to thank those that are praying for me and ask for your continued prayers. I think lately we have been on the devils special “hit” list! The devil is furious over the many souls that we are pulling from his dark domain. This month alone over 30 precious souls have baptized in water and more than that filled with the Holy Ghost. New churches in several states are being built and a new Radio program was put on the air today. It seems the devil is quite nervous lately. After all he doesn’t take all his punches lying down.
Our son Ednei hit a car with the old church bus Sunday Night. No one but the car was hurt but we will have to get it fixed.
Brother Alvear brought me to spend a week away from the house to rest close to the hospital as we have been without a car since January and low and behold Brother Alvear also had a bad spell with his heart last Friday night and had to be taken to the emergency room! I had to call Michael to come get us and help me get him to the emergency room. I called a doctor and she came and told me he was having a heart attack! I think I almost had one when she told me how much I owed her for the call! Ha… I really didn’t think he was having a heart attack as I felt it was more stress however he was in the hospital the biggest part of the night.
We are laughing as we get old together! Our bodies have lots of miles on them. We are deeply thankful for a host of helpers in the gospel here and for our homeland supporters.
Our vision, our mission, our passion is the saving of lost souls. That vision is shared with our sons and our national preachers here.
Thank you once again for your prayers and for taking the time to send our messages out to our American friends.
It is our desire to be at the Nashville convention if God provides the means and it be His will. We hope to see many of you there.
