Why?
Because we didn't get to go!
We purchased our DEE-lux, all-inclusive package 6 months ago and were scheduled to go out this Sunday. Three days before we received a call from Apple vacation telling us that the resort we were booked at was closed due to the Norovirus (flu). They asked if we wanted to go to a different hotel (site unseen) or take a refund. We took the refund.
We spent two nights at a small hotel across from the Mall of America in MN but it
didn't quite match up to the sound of steel drums, sand, fancy drinks, the sound of waves, and everyone saying "Hello Mon!" as they walked by.
Oh well, we're flying to AZ in a few weeks to buy our home.... We'll leave the state that God forgot ONE of these days.
