Thanks, Ron. I know that's true. And I'm trying to be understanding and supportive and all that. But, if it's at the risk of his life, I just can't make myself do it. I just keep thinking that if he died doing this, tho, he would at least die happy. But that's not ok. Sorry. I DO want him to be happy!! More than anything!! But I also want him around for a long time. I do think that he learned a big lesson because it's taking him so long to bounce back after the other night. But pray that that 'lesson' doesn't throw him into some sort of a depression.

Weeell, I have heard it somewhere that men can be stuborn at times.
I will pray that God not only touch and help him, but also remind him that being around for some more years is more important.

This is just a thought, is there not some of his buddies, or the fire chief that you could share your concerns with?
