(it IS the latter: conceal it because other people precieve it as wrong, and will judge you negitivly)....it's an ingrained stigma, and my daughter thinks I have issues! LOL She thinks I aught to do what I am free in Christ to do, which I could but, like Rhoni has mentioned, you honor or do as the church you go to as a majority does. If I were to move and go to an even more liberal church, I would probably change at some point...maybe.
Our Church has a diverse congragation. We open our doors for all...even women with a pixie haircut or men with full beards. As long as you have clothes on...LOL...you are welcome!!
