In their worldview, the country has been torn apart because of these and other issues. It is divided because of traditional values and faith and Judeo-Christian morality. Now they talk national unity, and healing and coming together, but that will only come with conditions. They will do what they want and expect for the rest of the 46% of Americans who rejected BO as president to go along for the ride, be silent and accept the will of the people.
Brighter days are ahead. Our nation is in bad shape. We now have a chance for salvation. Its all rhetoric. There may be some token gestures at appearing bi-partisan, but new presidents know if one is going to get much done they have to do it the first year b/c the midterms turn everything political.
I will pray for BO, in fact I have already, but strap on your seatbelts, 2009 is going to be a ride.

I can only say amen to this post.
I do a slow burn when I hear people putting down President Bush. We might wish a thousand times we had him back before all this is over.
I too will pray for BO.......already have done so!
