You are reminding me of when I was Drum Major. At our summer camp I learned a new signal to start the band marching. It was our first parade. After giving the signal I took off and didn't hear anyone behind me. I turned around and the band was standing in place waiting for me to give them the long used familiar signal.  Lord, that was embarrassing. |
