I learned about Jesus today.
I was in a home today , servicing a heater/AC system, when a little boy came down the steps in his PJs. He was half carrying/half dragging a "Christmas coloring book." He looked to be 6 or 7 years old. I asked him if he went to school, and he said yes. I then asked why he wasn't in school and he said, "Cuz...its Christmas". I said, "What is Christmas?", expecting him to tell me about Santa Clause. He looked at me real funny, then smiled and said, "Its Jesus' birthday!" I said, "Well, who is Jesus?". His eyes got big and he asked, "You don't know who Jesus is?" I said , "Well, tell me about Him". He sat down on the steps and opened his "Jesus coloring book". Pointing at the first page, he started with the birth of Jesus by saying "Jesus was a baby born in (what sounded like) a manager". He turned the page and carried on. "Jesus helped poor people and sick people and dead people and he chased away some pigs, and he walked on top of water, and you know what?" I said "What" He said, "And he gave food to hungry people". Then He dropped the book, spread His arms wide, and said, "And Jesus died on the cross for the whoooooole world!'
The Gospel Story... from a 6 year old.
