I understand and can appreciate this view. You don't want people to make the same mistakes you made. But there is also a smugness to many of your recent posts that implies some sort of exclusivity on the truth. It's great that you have returned to the fold, and have vowed to not repeat your mistakes. And I certainly think it is good to believe that you have the big picture in mind - and that your revelation is the "whole" truth.
But not every question or alternative opinion is a step toward the slippery slope. Not everyone's path is the same. And the comment about "waiting at the gate" is just a bit presumptuous and condescending in my view. When you have finishing seeking truth because you're so sure you have it all figured out, I think that's dangerous.
