I John 3:1:Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
There is more to being a father than just begetting children. He provides for what he has begot, he "trains up" those children in the way they SHOULD to go. He is considerate of the mother. He loves and cherishes. He cares and is considerate of her needs. IF he truly loves his wife and children, that is!
God told Adam his part and He told what Eve's part of the curse for disobedience was.
If wives who have gone through the pain, labor and giving birth to the children, maybe
she would not mind it so much IF she saw more sweat on husbands face. Working by
the sweat of his brow. She surely sweats in labor birthing those babies.
If she then has to leave her babies and go into the workforce and help do
his part, she probably won't really desire to bare any/or many babies. If it
becomes more than she can bear, whether it be a mother in the home or
a minister's wife, she may not care if more babies or more converts (babes
in the church) come along or not. Things that are overloaded becomes
more of a burden than a blessing. That old rooster in the barnyard just goes
around, among the chicks, thrusting out his chest, crowing, like he's done
some big thing. and he WAS a contributor. The eggs can be laid without
him, but to make more babies/converts, he must deposit his contribution.
The burden can get awfully heavy when one of the team players is not
carrying their share of the responsibility.
A lot of things are out of order, according to God's Plan. Things out of
order, do not work properly. Plumbing out of order, will eventually back up
on you, After awhile it begins to smell and only gets worse if not corrected.
Just some thoughts.
