Ok Jesus is talking to Nicodemus in
John 3 right? So how come
John 3:16 is future tense cause Jesus is still on earth 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Reading the scripture Jesus was still around so was he telling them this before it acually happened I don't see a problem with it if thats the way it was just sounds wierd
