I am thinking that when candidate Obama said what he said about family being off limits,he was talking about all family of all the politicians involved in the Presidential campaign.
Besides, his family was definitely NOT off limits and they're still not.
Michelle Obama took a lashing and now one of my fellow Republican Senators from SC called her a gorilla.
Figures that he is from SC-- one of the most ignorant states in the Union....
So NOPE, the Obama family has not been off limits:
wife;
impoverished brother in Kenya;
Grandmother in Kenya;
and his own dead mother were all subjected to crudeness and rudeness.
Letterman apologized, went out of his way to apologize again.
Unless someone can pick up on a pattern of this only happening to Palin, as if she is a victim or something, we should all just get over it.
