Speaking of Norman, he was banned from most Christian book stores anyway, so he didn't have to worry about it for the most part!
And speaking of Deadeye.....in that post you were pretty nice to me. You feeling ok?

I can agree with the philosophy.
My oldest daughter has dated several writers/lead singers from bands (secular) in this area. I do not have a draw to this music at all, but she introduced switchfoot to her friends. I found myself at a concert of one of the bands... I listened for a while, then started claiming them for Christ.

whew... Just not my bag of tea, but my daughter says Switchfoot has such meaning to their words.
She writes songs and to me everything is so deep... but I have to keep in mind, God called her to be who she is for him. I know someday it will all fall into place, as she has been given some promises concerning her music.
There is a need for the music, the differences than what I am or more conservative christianity will not reach them... it is needed as how else will someone be able to introduce them to Christ?
This is the thoughts I keep as I try to calm down my conservative self as a mom.
