I went to the ALJC National Youth Convention at the Opryland Hotel on Wednesday night to see some old friends while they were in Nashville. Imagine my surprise when a stranger tapped me on the shoulder and asked if I was ____ _______! He had someone he wanted to introduce me to. It was someone from AFF!
He walked me over to this lady that I had never met, and she told me she was "Tina" on AFF! It was great to meet Tina and her husband for the first time! They seem like great folks!
It was kind of awkward because Mrs. Steinway was with me, and she
HATES AFF!
The good thing was there were some people with Tina that Mrs. Steinway knew from years ago. That distracted her enough so I could talk a little to Tina!
Tina, it was great to finally meet you!
