We are looking forward to the New Year! Come Feb.
first,. we are expecting our
first GREAT-Grandchild! A little girl (princess). This is a
first for our eldest
daughter and husband. Their
first grandchild from their
firstborn son. (he's the
first and only grandchild to marry so far). They will have their sixth wedding
anniversary Jan.17. Then their
firstborn! We are all SUPER excited!
We had our Christmas this year on Christmas Eve with our children and grand-
children. The adults were playing Chinese Christmas and when it came my time to
select a female gift, our youngest son's mother in law said,. Nancy, pick this one.
A flat envelope which turned out to have a Christmas card and a Kohl's gift card.
When I opened the card music, "We Wish You A Merry Christmas started playing.
I thought "O, a singing card. How nice. Then very nicely blended into the card on
the left-hand side was a very professionally done note:
CONGRATULATIONS!! (Please Read Aloud). You are the
Lucky Family Member that gets to announce that Brent & Amy ___ are expect-
ing their third baby. Due July 2010. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Love, Brent, Amy,
Ashlyn and Garrison.
I was so suprised and let out an excited sound. Some of my family said they
didn't know what was in that card. Maybe an hundred dollar bill. LOL! They
were all suprised except for our son's in-laws who had found out the night
before.
I am more excited about a new grandbaby than money!
