If you are referencing the James Burton from Cincinnati, OH, his appointment was to Venezuela. He and his grown children were missionaries for several years. I don't know if any are still missionaries in that country or not. James Burton died about a year ago. Some of his family have been active in Hispanic ministry in this area in conjunction with Calvary Church which is a couple of miles from me. Also one of his sons is listed as pastor of Taburnaculo de Adoracion Jesucristo in Hamilton, OH which is in this area.

Burton also served in DR ... Sam ... if memory serves .. maybe I'm wrong.

Last time I saw him ... was when he spoke at a Spanish camp for the New York Metro district a few years ago ...

His toupee was a source of controversy.

I know of several in the ministry some Venezuelan and some Dominicans that consider him as a spiritual father.
