I love my Gateway because it's red.
Seriously, it's been a great machine, the only problem I've had is that it tends to overheat fairly easily if there's not a cooling pad under it. Mainly overheats if I'm watching something online. (that's probably my angels looking out for me, trying to save my heathen soul
)
My daughter has a Dell, and her power cord quit working after a few months. They replaced it quickly, though.
The kids' laptop is an Acer, and it's been good so far.
My husband has a Dell netbook, and he loves it.
