well, I went for pre-op testing today and everything went really well. I came away very comfortable with the whole situation. The people at this hospital are the nicest people you will ever encounter

The nurse who was working with me made a comment that I liked. We were talking about what this could possibly be. She said it is very possible that it is a fistula. I asked what that was and she explained it. It's icky, but not life- threatening So now I'm praying that it is something very simple like a fistula. It would still involve a large incision inside and stitches. And lots of pain and soreness afterwards. But hey, if it's not life-threatening, I'm still ok. I'll make it thru some pain. Others have. I can too
