I remember my pastor's wife giving me a tip one time to wear skin-colored undies so that they wouldn't show through white, but it was more "girl talk"--not a condemning statement! I would have been mortified if someone had taken my fashion faux pas to mean I was immodest or immoral.
No wonder she quit attending there. Too bad her husband didn't defend her against their pastor and go with her to a new church. The outcome of this situation might have been vastly different. |
