Wrong again guys.
According to the way the media counts the length of this war, it has lasted "7 years and 5 months" - almost to the day. "That's longer than WW2!" they bewail.
But by using the same standard - the presence of American troops in the country we were at war with, WW2 never ended!
American troops are still stationed in Japan and Germany - even at this very moment. WW2 has never ended - by this standard.
Welcome to the 25,093rd day of World War Two.

Good points. I do have to give our Socialist President props when it comes to Afghanistan. He at least has had enough sense to know we can't cut and run there. You know that has to drive his lib base nuts. They saw a future of perfect pacifism with The Annointed One. They will just have to settle for the socialization of America.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
