Maybe that's the reason some churches cannot get over 200. They split. Like
in a family. When the older children get a certain age, they marry and leave
home and the extended family get larger. My husband and I married 51 yrs ago.
We stayed in the church my parents founded the year before we married. We
raised a family of six children. Each are now married and have 21 children be-
tween the six. Counting the six children's spouses, our family now numbers
37. This includes a grand-daughter in law and our first great-grandchild. 31
of this number attends the church my late parents founded 52 yrs ago.
For years the church didn't grow at a fast pace. But the ones who attended
and stayed through the years, heard great teaching, good solid Bible studies.
I have heard or read several times that we are losing 75-80% of our youth to
the world. WHY! There are reasons this is happening. In a home, if more of the
children are leaving the church after they leave home, there are reasons. I don't
claim to know all the answers, but God has the answers!
