Yeah, I'm a zero-stepper. Jesus has taken all the steps!

That's the Segraves theology coming out in me!

"How dare you say, 'If you take one step, He'll take two?' Jesus has taken ALL the steps!!!!"

I heard him roar that SO many times.

Re: Christmas Gifts

Well, time for another update.

For those of you not yet up-to-speed, on Christmas eve, I asked my older son to throw a baseball 90mph before I would give him his Christmas gifts. So far, no luck. He just can't get it done. Go back and read the original post for more info.

Meanwhile, my son continues to beg for his gifts but rules are rules, you know. I simply will not give him his free gifts until he performs this task. He claims he just doesn't have the ability and that I'm expecting too much. But I just don't think he's serious enough about it.

Today he begged. You should have seen him cry. He was down on his knees at one point, begging and crying. It's tough to see your kid cry like that but I really think that if he gets serious enough, it'll happen. I just think he's not totally devoted yet.

I'll keep you updated.

He took all the steps He needed to take, the rest is up to the individual.
