One old vestige of the PCI that remains (for now) is the "Repentance and Conversion" section in the UPCI Manual and the Article of Faith. It's interesting, even though you can affirm this statement right from the Manual and the AoF - you'll be in big trouble for doing so. I wonder how long this section will remain unrevised.



*** I took a "snapshot" of this from Sarge's website (www.spiritualabuse.org) and this photo is from the 1952 UPCI Manual. The most recent Manual I have laying around the house right now is from the mid 1990's and the wording is still identical. I am currently reduced to typing with just one hand at the moment so I took this "short cut" of copying from Sarge's website.

Interesting you should say that I understand that is exactly what got Keith banned.

He affirmed the AoF and was banned anyway, even though the dog pack recognized he was right on that point.

I don't know what Keith said. I was banned long ago for agreeing with one of the administrators "over there" when he questioned the "Perpetual Acts 2:38 Doctrine." One of the other admins jumped all over me and that was pretty much the end of me. LOL.

These people suffer from a number of unfortunate deficiencies. They don't study their Bibles, or when they do, they don't pay attention to what it says. They also lack even a basic education in writing, the logic of grammar and history.

All they have is a "certainty" that they happen to be absolutely correct about whatever floats through their heads. There are a few thoughtful exceptions... well, I can think of one right now. The rest are just pinheads.

I bear no animosity towards anyone on that forum or any other one, this year I want to walk in Honor like never before.

It is easy to get in the Group Think, harder to break from it. In an Org such as the UPCI it will destroy you or isolate you.

Any religious movement is a system, it has rules, you play by them, there is reward, you run up against them, it has consequences. Ministry, Family, Financial the list goes on.

I was attacked and kept drawing attention to this was the intent of the merger and the spirit in which the Org. was founded.

That is such an apt analogy. And, one that I think grates on these guys given their almost universal dislike for Pelosi and company.

This is the reason that I have refused to call these guys "conservatives." They aren't "conservative" at all. They want to make sweeping changes and they resort to going undercover and using Orwellian language (look it up Keith, the other Keith - LOL) to do so.
