Baxter is flailing wildly about identifying this and that just like Hal Lindsey did in the 70s and 80s. Find something that folks are scared of and then made it fit into bible prophecy. ...until it doesn't then quickly and quietly change to something else.

Fear is a great motivator and some wield it haphazardly.

We spent most of the 80's in the UPC and it truly was a time when no one planned for the future because rapture was "any day now". Everyone knew the Pope that was in office during the event would be the antichrist. The giant computer in Belgium known only as The Beast was going to be used to inventory every man, woman, and child, via The Mark.

Note: The server room at our small private school of just under 400 students ranging from pre-school to senior has more power then The Beast had.

I was young then and that is ALL that was talked about behind the pulpit. I remember everyone telling me we would not make it to 1993 (that was the year I was to graduate) I would never get married or have kids. I was scared to death and very sad. I remember some night doing homework and thinking....Why bother? I am not going to make it out of high school.
Thankfully I graduated, got a degree, got married, have two sweet children that I homeschool!

Re: Pale horse in Egypt?

Why do they call it a "pale" horse when it's green?

Thanks, Sam. I didn't know that. Got tired of the endtime stuff during the 80's and forgot about it.

Exactly. It is a "lens flare". The fire is causing the lens to flare and there are at least two other little lens flares like spots that follow the "horse" image when it moves. That stuff happens with lenses and cameras when there is a bright light involved, like fire.

Re: Pale horse in Egypt?

If a person compares Rev 6 with Matt 24, the same series of events are foretold in the same sequence as follows:

1) white horse - false Christs
2) red horse - wars
3) black horse - famines
4) pale horse -- saints will be killed
5) Souls under altar wondering how long til avenged -- Jesus said he that endures to end same shall be saved
6) sun turns black and moon to blood - same in Rev 6 and Matt 24
FIG TREE is mentioned in both accounts as well.

Jesus interpreted Rev's horsemen as false Christs, war, famine and death.

Bwahahaha

And if Baxter said it it must be true!

That poor guy has flipped flopped so many times he belongs on a beach!

Don't wanta burst your bubble Rose but Baxter is a fake!

If he really believed what he was peddling he, anlong with the other peddlers of false doctrine like LaHaye, would be giving this stuff out for free and not trying to profit off being a false prophet!

After all, the world is gonna end soon and what use is money?

But no, you buy their stuff and they buy a new car and put the money into their little piggy banks!
