I tell him that I like to be fashionably late, he doesn't want to be, I take my time getting dressed so that we will be, he doesn't say anything and I get my way. So, no, I don't lie about it, but I refuse to be on time for a party.

Thankfully we have multiple vehicles. I am going to be on time. The rest can figure it out for themselves.

Yes, he does have an e-mail address. It's mine! Don't worry, everyone knows he is the head honcho around here, but sometimes, there are just things that I must have my way.

I was taught to be fashionably late, which actually should never extend to more than 15 minutes. Can't teach an old dog new tricks, as they say.

You will think this is funny because he can't stand bossy women. I won't say who he was talking to but, he told the man, "Maybe I should talk to your wife. I can hear her in the background telling you what to do and say."

When he hung up, I said, "You are going to make her angry."

He said, "I don't care."
