A UPC preacher boldly stated that all the people in other churches outside of the UPC are going to hell. That kind of self-righteousness arrogance is what I hate and so does Jesus. And I've heard other things with the same content. But as far as the video well, people are just people and they get caught up in a mind set and it carries over into their emotional center and then comes out of their mouth.
I have been around long enough to have seen error in all belief. I just try to remember where Jesus brought me from and the evil darkness that I was in.
Peace of God between us.
Much agreed with you! I'm not so much interested in stirring trouble as I am to get people to wake up and realize what's going on. We can sit around all day long and talk about where God has brought us...but we can't forget there's a world of people beyond the walls of our home that need salvation and redemption.

I used the video to prove my point that it's not about us; it's about God and what He can do for others. There's enough in the world about I/me/my. Why would the church, who can be so critical of people not like them, do the same thing yet point on the world's selfishness? Should I say the pot's calling the kettle black?

It's all good; I wasn't trying to come down harsh on my reply earlier. But, it got my eyes raised to the ceiling when I read your initial response...

We're sailing in the same boat and Jesus is the captain. Keep doing what your doing for others, let your light shine and maybe some of those people we are discussing will see it and come out of where they are to a better experience in the Lord Jesus. God's blessing on you my brother in Christ.
