Ferd are you from OK? GH is what I consider conservative we fellowship with them.

I am from OK (emphasis on from) and I would agree that by AFF definition the OK district is not classically conservative. A better con term for them would be consistent. They are more conservative than moderate but in certain areas they fall out side the traditional conservative camps, i.e. wedding bands and short sleeves.

I guess I didn't see your question. I didn't resign my church -- I just didn't let them reelect me as DS. Canon City was good to me. We had some very difficult times there, but the church was doing well when I left.

Nevertheless, to answer your question, I am not going ANYWHERE. (At least not for another 19 years -- I plan on retiring, Lord Willing, once I've been here for 30 years.)
