Re: Donald Trump Calls for Obama Birth Certificate

JD,

People who call for a birth certificate are derided as less intelligent or personally attacking BO, which really obfuscates the real issue. IF Barak Obama was not born on American soil, his becoming a US Senator and President will be one of the biggest scams in all of history!

Arnold S. cannot run for president because he was born in Austria. Why should BO given a pass if he cannot prove his origin of birth? One week after he was born his grandparents ran an article in the Honolulu paper announcing his birth. That is all they have to go on. It is possible that they wanted to make sure BO had US citizenship so they placed that ad in the paper. BOs Kenyan grandmother is on record saying she was present at his birth and that it was in Kenya.

It is becoming more and more of a legitimate issue with me the more I see and hear.

The Dems tried to delegitimize W back in 2004 for allegations he was AWOL when he served in the Air National Guard. On the basis of phony documents the Mainstream Media went on air to expose this "cover up". There seems to be more evidence that something isn't legit about this birth certificate issue yet all the media elites and Democrats scoff at intelligent people asking legitimate questions.

How is it that ALL of us have to prove our origin of birth frequently but we just have to accept someone's word that his birth in Hawaii is true? There isn't a hospital in Hawaii that has any record that BO was born there. You could go to your town of birth, the hospital where you were born and you would find official documentation of your birth. Nothing like that can be found for BO.

And the hypocrisy to talk about the self destruction of Sarah Palin! How has she self destructed? She's a conservative woman? She has a nasal northern accent? She is folksy and down to earth and doesn't carry Ivy League credentials? Any basis for disqualifying SP for legitimacy PALES in comparison to BO. I'm still amazed he won the nomination let alone the election.

I believe BOs presidency came into being as a result of several things. #1: He got lucky. The economy fell apart in late September of '08, 6 weeks before the election. Before that he was behind in the polls from the GOP convention forward. #2: McCain was not an aggressive candidate. Had he raised even half the issues that BOs past should've raised, many voters would have thought twice about voting for BO. McCain played nice in a bloodsport. The Dems have never showed such restraint when glaring weaknesses are exposed. #3: The complicity of the MS Media. They attack a guy like W with phony docs without vetting them properly. But real, legitimate issues concerning BO, Clinton, et al get passed over. Nobody in the media elite is willing to go after a Democrat who raises legitimate questions. They just get all enamored and tingly inside.

So in the end, if Trump runs, and I believe he will (he's running 2nd to Romney right now in polls), this birth certificate issue will continue to be raised until proof positive is procured.

I listened to Trump on Morning Joe this morning. The fill-in host, Willy, Ed Rendall, Donnie Deutsch and Pat Buchanan all were making light of the issue but when pressed Trump kept coming back with questions and statements that these guys couldn't refute. Its obvious as Trump keeps the issue at the forefront the more momentum this issue is gaining and the East Coast media elites are perplexed at how to respond and make it go away.

I thought it was a non-issue, a losing one. The more I listen to Trump's questions and watch people like Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar and Bill Maher squirm and get angry, the more I am thinking there must ne something to this.
