During the presidential debates last year, Obama declared that capturing or killing Osama bin Laden “has to be our biggest national security priority.”

By the time Obama gave another interview in early January, he said killing or capturing bin Laden was not necessary to “meet our goal of protecting America.”

From the tone of President Obama's speech tonight you would think that he was the one who came up with the idea that the United States should hunt down and kill Osama bin Laden.

But without Mr. Bush's leadership and setting the groundwork for the conduct of the war on terrorism, Mr. Obama would never have had the tools to get this job done.

I agree with him that killing or capturing Osama is not the most important issue with regards to our security. In fact they have just stepped up the security alerts now that Osama is dead

He first states that it is very important and then says it's not. I think it is important as it tells the enemy that - "No matter how long it takes, justice will be done." - George Bush

They might as well step up security alerts. This fight wasn't going away whether we caught him or not, but it has set the stage to show that we mean what we say.

We need Allen West in the White House. He's not intimidated one bit.

I'd like to see him and Paul Ryan on the 2012 ticket.
