Don't you think it would cause some serious problems to keep his body around? Zealots trying to steal it or bomb areas where it might be?

And also, there's a possibility that they are just saying that they buried him at sea to prevent that very thing. (While actually keeping the body somewhere.) I would suspect them of lying about that.

Interesting thought! Who knows?

I guess they could take him to Guantanimo (sp) and decide if they want to have a trial in New York 2 or 3 years from now! Prop him up by the jukebox....I guess!

I understood the reasoning was that his grave would not be set up as a shrine for a martyr. That sounds very plausible to me.
