I've already been counselling with my spiritual mentors and close friends. They're praying for me and keeping me on track emotionally... as much as possible, I guess.

I've gotten my word from the Lord... out of his Book.

"I am with you always, even to the end of the world"

"I will never leave you nor forsake you"

"I am the Lord that heals you"

"I will give you beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning"

Brother I don't mean to offend you but when I am going through a major trial
I go and sit with my pastor who is my spiritual mentor. He then prays for me
and listens and gives me words of counsel.I never feel condemned even when I am wrong.I do however feel better because its kept private and the whole church and my friends are not involved.Honestly I have some friends who love me so much that they would side with me even when I am wrong.I want truth even if truth hurts.I don't know your particular situation but I am praying for you.I remember the beautiful pictures you posted on the net and how happy you were when you married your sweetheart.I am sorry you are going through this.

Rather than respond any further to comments like this, I'll just walk away for now until I am able to respond without being emotional and saying something I may regret since I am not able to respond effectively.

Very.

Sorry... I don't mean to get emotional or to speak harshly to anyone.

I appreciate the prayers and the words of encouragement.

Ron, this is beautiful!

I am living proof that you can make it and with those promises from God you will make it and be whole again.

It doesn't take a thing away from what you are going through now, but just knowing that at some point it will be behind you and each one of those awesome scriptures are your rocks right now!

You are a good girl Renda. It may be though that things change for Brother Ron and he does not end up divorced.I have seen it happen.God can get ahold of her heart and things can mend.

Didn't say it couldn't. Just said that what he is going through will be behind him.

Bro. Ron,

Sis. Trouvere has given some very sound advice. Like me, she has also went through similar things. I thank God every day for a Pastor, Bro. Richard Martin, who counseled me through the roughest time going through my divorce. He provided wisdom and insight counseling...wisdom straight from God.

I know you have many friends, and friends are wonderful to have in times like these, but don't neglect to counsel with your Pastor, your spiritual leader, the man God has placed over you for such times as this.

Relying on one's self for encouragement, going to the word for encouragement & Direction, and going to friends for love and affirmation is wonderful...but nothing can replace the office of Pastor that Christ has put over you for your well-being.

You may be surprised...the Pastor may just have the word you need to overcome!

Blessings, Sis. Rhonda

I have already counselled with my pastor.

We're working through it together.

I've already got the Word I need to Overcome. Got it a number of weeks ago. It's the day to day operations and living that I have to work through to get there that is the obstacle.
