A lot of people on this forum really throw out a lot of foolish and untrue accusations. I don't know one single Pentecostal that would denie a miracle because of someone's denominational affiliation. We understand that God honors faith wherever it is. I have seen many miracles in denominational churches before i came to Apostolic doctrine. The first miracle i saw was when i was 11 years old and prayed for a girl's broken finger and God healed it. It was through that healing that God showed me that all of the signs in Mark 16:17-18 were real...including speaking in tongues. It was that healing and that scripture that led me to receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost before i ever stepped foot in a Pentecostal church. God honors faith! We know, understand, and believe that!

Things must have seriously changed in the past couple of decades because I know many (most) UPC'ers at the time we were going attributed just about any miracle outside of the org as a trick of the devil.

I think things have changed in that regard Randy. Now, they may well view the miracle as something being done to "bring them into the full truth". But I don't think they deny God is working outside their denomination.

yep i have even heard a apostolic preacher say that any tounges outside of the realm of apostolic pentacostalism is of the devil.

also heard another say they went to a methodist church, were there was a move of God and they stated it was not right, cause it wasnt apostolic.

people still forget the out pouring came through a bunch of trinities all across diferent denominations and beliefs and out of that was birthed Oneness pentacostalism

Ummm. That is not true. Oneness Pentecostalism didn't begin at Azusa.

you better study your history buddy.

Oneness pentacostalism came out of asuza street. it was a bunch of assembly of God preachers turned from trinity to oneness. It was called the New issue.

its in your apostolic books, it was birthed out of that movement.

Back in the nineteen sixties many folks were receiving the Holy Ghost Baptism and remaining in their denominational churches. This was a source of confusion to us oneness pentecostals because: they did not come to us to receive the experience and we thought we had the exclusive franchise; they remained Roman Catholic, Methodist, or whatever; women continued to wear makeup, jewelry, and pants. We couldn't say they were sinners because God had baptized them in His Spirit and we couldn't say they were saved or born again because they didn't come to our church, they weren't baptized right, and they didn't dress right

God filled them with the Spirit to lead them to truth. They received part of what God had for them but not the whole experience, they didnt follow all the way. This doesnt mean that they never experienced a move of God in their lives.

you need to read your bible. the spirit is the promise. that is the whole experience.

your baptized into the body by what? By the Spirit.
Your sealed by what? The Spirit.
Your adopted by what? The spirit

what is the Promise? The Spirit.

your exegesis is wrong
