Re: Tithing, Mandate for the New Testament Church?

You guys should go do something productive instead of trying to convince people that they should not tithe. Go get someone saved or healed and stop preaching to the choir!

2 Tim. 2:16 "But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. KJV

The Message 2 Tim:14-18 Repeat these basic essentials over and over to God's people. Warn them before God against pious nitpicking, which chips away at the faith. It just wears everyone out. Concentrate on doing your best for God, work you won't be ashamed of, laying out the truth plain and simple. Stay clear of pious talk that is only talk. Words are not mere words, you know. If they're not backed by a godly life, they accumulate as poison in the soul. Hymenaeus and Philetus are examples, throwing believers off stride and missing the truth by a mile by saying the resurrection is over and done with.

You guys don't intimidate me and I am not required to give an answer to you. You will answer to God for your deception and rebellion against His Word!

Well that didn't prove much. Same kind of stuff thrown at paul with folks claiming rebellion and all to the word. Scripture alone settles it, which I seen you give very little.

I do believe that you rob God of what belongs to Him when you do not tithe.

Robbers in the House of God!
I am not going to argue about it - just stating facts according to God's Word.

Just what I thought!

Typical answer for someone with no clue for what they practice.

Who's trying to intimidate you? I was just asking for answers, which is biblical. But all of a sudden I'm in rebellion for questioning something! Run from the question all you want!

THE FACT IS EVERYONE WHO VIEWS THIS THREAD WILL SEE YOU COULDN'T ANSWER A SIMPLE QUESTION. WHAT DOES THIS SHOW PEOPLE? YOU CAN'T VALIDATE WHAT YOU PREACH! UTTERLY SAD!

......and you're a Bishop too, eh? ....double sad....

Here's the question for all the viewers directed to Atlanta "Bishop." How did tithing transition from harvest product and cattle (biblical tithing) to money?

I'll be waiting.
