One time he and Ward Bond took a couple of Russians, who were instructed to assassinate Big John, down to the beach. They made them kneel in the sand, put their hands on their heads while John and Ward held guns to their heads. Scared those guys half to death. They then put them on a plane and sent them back to Russia. They instructed them that the next time they came back to the states, they would get their heads blown off.
