Re: My favorite preachers
The best I have ever heard in the UPC was at a Deeper Life Conference at First Pentecostal Church/Pastor Tommy Craft, Jackson, MS when Pastor Wayne McClain preached "Most Likely, You Will Not Change". Incredible and it changed my life!
My favorite preacher has passed away and that was my Pastor & Bishop for many years, Bishop G. E. Patterson of Temple of Deliverance, Memphis, TN. My Bishop and favorite preacher now is Bishop T. D. Jakes of The Potters House/Dallas, TX and I don't think you can get any better!
I do love to hear my Pastor, Jentezen Franklin preach. He is the real deal!
As far as a list - some of the best preaching I have ever heard has been.
Pastor P.T. McClure - PromiseLand Church - Melbourne, FL
Bishop Wayne Malcolm - Christian Life City - London, England
Bishop Noel Jones - City of Refuge - Los Angeles, CA
Evangelist R. W. Schambach - Tyler, Texas
Dr. Wayne Parks, Full Gospel Church, Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Bishop Tudor Bismark - New Life Covenant Church - Harare, Zimbabwe.
Pastor Clint Brown, FAITHWORLD CHURCH of Orlando, FL
and if you have not had a heart attack already.......
Dr. Mark Hanby was the best the UPC ever had and still sells more product of his messages than most men you will ever know. He was a master at preaching and I still love to hear him.
As far as Non-Pentecostal Teachers - Pastor Charles Stanley - First Baptist Church of Atlanta, GA, Pastor Andy Stanley, North Point Community Church, Alpharetta/North Atlanta, GA and the late Pastor Jack Hiles of First Baptist Church, Hammond, IN.

I have to agree with you there AB. Bro Hanby preached for the Idaho District Campmeeting in 1978, a year or two after the TV deal forced him to turn in his credentials. I remember his sermons vividly. "It's not Mine, It's Borrowed", "Nehushtan", left indelible impressions.

I actually heard TD Jakes preach on TBN this weekend and liked him very much.
He preached on David in Ziglag, and how in the midst of his trials the crown came to him.
I would definitely look for him and watch him again.

I've always been curious about visiting his church. Only problem is I'm on the exact opposite side of Dallas from where his church meets.
Another pastor I do like to "watch" is Ricky Rush from IBOC (Inspiring Body of Christ, http://ibocjoy.org/) here in Dallas also. I say "watch" only because our local ABC news affiliate, WFAA, airs a weekly inspirational segment on the news each Sunday morning. I happen to like what he has to say, myself. Other than that, I've never watched his or any televangelists program in its entirety...
