I like to think about Ruths Chris.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

That is definitely worth meditating upon. Sometimes I find myself meditating upon Texas Roadhouse, or Lambert's Cafe, or Bono's BBQ.

Indeed. The only home of the flying rolls. I've been to the one in Sikeston, MO a few times.

I'm not sure if this is the same location but my wife took my to the one in Springfield, MO, or at least you had to drive through Springfield to get to it. I normally do not like that sort of cooking but the food there was excellent! I would go back many times even without any thrown rolls.

That is the one and only Lambert's in all of MO. I do not know how many times that we have eaten there when we have been on vacation in Branson. The last time was about four years ago when the WPF held our Stronger Together conference in Branson. It was very interesting to see the number of Pentecostals who showed up there after the confernce was over. It looked like we took over a large portion of the restraunt. It was great.

BTW, if you ever finish all of the food on your plate, they will bring you out another order without charging you for it. The problem is that very few people can eat everything on the first plate, much less the second. You need to join those eating contests if you are going to stand a chance there at Lambert's. I am sure that others here can attest to that.

Now I am HUNGRY!!!

How do you even technically "finish" a plate considering that people are wondering around constantly asking if you want this or that or more of what you already have. LOL
