Speaking of casinos...my brother fell into the trap that his preacher set when he told the congregation that God blesses you more abundantly when you sacrificially give. So he went to a payday loan place and borrowed $400 and gave it to the church, then told his wife that he would "prosper" from giving. (paraphrased) His wife chided him for falling into what she calls the "god casino".
Ignorant...I know...but so many sincere people hear stuff like this and go out and do ignorant things. He not only did not prosper, he had to pay a high interest rate on that $400.
