If Christians are not willing to be involved in politics, who will be the righteous that rule? Who will be the people that elect them?

Your quote, to me, wherein God has already assumed that we are just going to do it our way, yes? just validates my point. Men's authority will always devolve.

I'd say your Q answers itself; the righteous should rule, outside politics. There will be no elections, as true rulership, at least this vision of it I see, is just not of that nature. Power assumed and correctly used by an inspired individual (in the Church) for Truth, just ends up being in a lead role for a minute, maybe...
