Doesn't the Bible say there is only one Faith?
Here are just a few examples of what I think departing from that
Faith means.....
"Now the Spirit (of God) expressly says that in latter times some (church leaders ... reverends, ministers, rabbis, priests, bishops, popes, saints) will DEPART from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons(opposing things the Bible says ... in direct opposition to God's Word)speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron" (
1 Timothy 4:1-2)
"For the time WILL come (and we are now there) when they (many men and women who call themselves "Christian") will NOT ENDURE sound doctrine. (What the Bible actually says and teaches ...)
Instead, to suit their own desires they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears WANT to hear. (who will only tell people what they want to hear and not what the Bible says)
They will turn their ears AWAY from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you (believing Christians) be watchful in all things, endure hardship, (for many (most) today don't want to hear what the Bible says ...) do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." (
2 Timothy 4:3-5)
"BEWARE of false teachers (prophets), who come to you in sheep's clothing,(they may seem "caring," attractive, friendly and many will have impressive religious titles) but inwardly they are ravenous wolves." ("Wolves" destroy and devour the "sheep") (
Matthew 7:15)
