If you get down to Tejas try the UPC south Texas district ladies conference. The other half of the split got the Lufkin campgrounds (bye bye stinky water) so South Dist. does theirs in some nice hotel somewhere every year. It's a vacation. This year it is in San Marcos at Embassy Suites. SM is also the home of the worlds biggest outlet mall, lots of fun things to do, minutes from Austin and San Antonio (the Alamo, Seaworld, The Riverwalk, Japanese Tea Gardens, etc.) and has cool cave tours and stuff. Not too far from you either... and even cooler, I'll be there! I just realized it's March 1-2 this year so I'll have to dry off cows earlier than I thought or get hubby to milk.

I've been to San Marcos before. Great place. Little to NO crime. But it's a 14 hour drive going 80 mph from me.

Right, right. The split because of the Mexicans. Said they'd split again if Mexicans ovah populate the new white district.

You are mistaken. South district picked up many more minorites. Lufkin still looks pretty pale but most of the Spanish speaking churches have their own camp, it is just a few miles up the road from me although I'm not sure it's UPCI.... but maybe??
