What strikes me about this guy, although I have never met him, is the specific positioning of the fingers on his hand.

Re: Me In 30 Years If I Didn't Have Standards...
He is actually saying, "I love you," in sign language. If he were making the sign of the horned hand is thumb would be invisible as well. The two signs are similar, but very different in meaning. (I know just a little sign language, but that was one of the very first that I acquired.)

If you really believe that then that's how you should be living. Seeing that being separate is a commant in scripture.

Jay, you are right, the thumb would be invisible as well. Shouldn't the "I love you sign" be crossed over the heart to the shoulder?

If it is supposed to be, I am not aware of it. All I was told was that you had the thumb, forefinger, and little finger extended, with the ring and middle fingers folded down. I have heard that the hand is supposed to be turned out from you toward the person that you are expressing your affection to. I am not exactly certain of that being the case. My aunt knows sign language and will be able to tell me exactly (provided I remember to ask her when I see her again).

There is room for interpretation. I never really thought the scripture had much to do with dress... at least not primarily.
