Casual God/convenient Salvation

But, years past, when I have heard anyone speaking too much of Jesus' Blood....I have thought, "That is way to serious/heavy for me".

I have tended to think of those people as fanatics. I go about my social day where I live, and the people I know would not care to hear about Jesus' Blood...it would be pretty offensive, even for some of the best of the 'good-people' that I know. It would certainly not be convenient.

Ok....so I am presenting this here...because I truely do want to learn. I would appreciate some feed-back, and prayers. I am also praying about this. I think I spend a lot of time pursuing a 'casual-god', a god that is convenient and fits into my idea of fun.....and I wonder why most often I cannot find God.

I am thankful, that at least I am at a beginning place....to see this lack in my life. I am thankful to see that I need to change. I right now pray The Blood of Jesus in my life, and for deep understanding and reverence of who my Saviour is. Thank You Lord.

This morning during the sermon...it dawned on me that even before I began to see....concerning Jesus and His Blood that is shed for me, I was already 'covered' .....by His blood, before I saw the importance of this.

This is somewhat humling...and I know that I have not yet seen the depth of this.
'He' loved me 'before' I saw. 'Words' are not enough to express what I am so far able to see....and I know I am only at the beginning.
