I've stopped an attacker before with a rebuke in the name of Jesus. It's a shame when we don't trust in the spiritual weapons of God, and put our trust in the devils weapons of death. I'm pretty sure on judgement day, "Objection God! I'm an American and I have rights!" won't be a very good arguement.

What scares me is being called a coward for not protecting my home and the charges within.

What should scare you is your lack of trust in God that you will never be put in that situation in the first place.
