the physical ears we already have, imo, but an
understanding of a Scriptural principle, seen
re-enacted in an everyday situation?

And I note that the NT was written
by Jews, but for whatever reason
comes to us through the Greek?

We are sinners in need of a Savior and that the whole bible points towards Jesus Christ as being that Savior.
