The Catholic church definitely has it's bad side, for sure. I don't fault you for your choice.
However, after leaving the UPC and realizing how arrogant I had been, I went to Catholic Mass and even took communion one time as a show to my family that religion was not going to come between us anymore. I am not a Catholic and they know that. But I felt in my heart I needed to do this. I do go with my Mom on Christmas Eve but I normally do not take communion.
