Re: I've Got a Problem!

Thank you for your responses! I tried to what I thought was right to protect my innocent grandbabies. Because I have "questioned my DIL's judgement" in posting the pictures in the first place, my son has told me that they are ceasing all communication with me!

Its a sad day for me when young adults wont heed popular and sound advice concerning posting nude pictures of innocent children showing genitals on Facebook. I cant believe it's come to this!

For them to cease communication over an issue like this, it means that there must be deeper issues here of which I'm not aware! This is insane!

Wow.

I'm less offended by the naked children and more offended that a parent wouldn't have the good sense to know that those types of pictures aren't for public consumption.

I hope you can make peace without retracting your wise concern. There are simply too many creeps online to post that stuff publicly. It's severely ignorant on the part of your DIL.

From the article Renda posted: "...That’s what happened to Alma Vasquez, a 22-year-old Utah mom who was accused of sexual exploitation of a minor after she took digital photos of her baby at bath time into Walgreens for processing into prints. Charges were dropped, but only after the family went through the ordeal of arrests, jail, and the state temporarily removing their child from their home.

Another mom, Nicole Saupe, got freaked out when she put a cute photo of her diaper-clad toddler online – and it was downloaded three times. By who, she still doesn’t know."

there should be no posting of genitals. that to me is considered child pornography. I know its your son and his wife, but being honest your the only one who seems to have the child's best interest. I think if it continues the law should be envolved.

a relationship verses the right thing and possibly preventing a child growing up scared cause of 5 year old baby nude pictures. I would rather the kid be protected.
